2011
LCCAD HAS ESTABLISHED
LCCAD was established primarily for the propagation of knowledge and expertise in mainstreaming of Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation, Disaster Risk and Vulnerability Reduction to capacitate the local government units in the Philippines and other stakeholders on partnership with the Provincial Governor of Albay, - Centre for initiatives and Research on Climate Adaptation (CIRCA), Department of the Interior & Local Government (DILG) and the Office of the President - Climate Change Commission, Philippine Information Agency (PIA) and the University of the Philippines Los Banos) (UPLB).

1st PHIL TOURISM CONFERENCE ON CC
The First Philippine Tourism Conference on Climate Change Adaptation (PTCCCA) was convened by the LCCAD in collaboration with the Department of Tourism (DOT), DILG, CCC, City Government of Legazpi and PIA, held in Legazpi City, Albay.

LCCAP USER MANUAL DEVELOPMENT
Developed the User's Manual for Local Government Units, a Guidebook for the Preparation of Local Climate Change Action Plan (LCCAP) with DILG and Local Government Academy.

UNWTO-ASEAN INT'L. CONFERENCE
The UNWTO-ASEAN International Conference on Tourism was held on May 19, 2014 in Legazpi City, Albay.

FIRST MALOLOS GREEN COVENANT
The Legazpi Declaration had been adopted by the First Malolos Covenant on Eco-Cultural Tourism, Climate Change Adaptation and Sustainable Development.

DILG RESIDENT TRAINER FOR LCCAP
LCCAD became the resident trainer/mentor/coach of LGUs in the formulation of their LCCAPs through a Memorandum of Agreement with the LGA-DILG.
2015
BURIAS-TICAO PASS SEASCAPE
Together with Albay Rep. Fernando and Ligao City Mayor Linda Gonzalez, established the Burias-Ticao Pass Protected Seascape uniting Albay, Masbate, and Sorsogon to protect and preserve marine resources.

DEPED K-12 MATERIALS DEVELOPMENT
Development of the K to 12 Learning Materials and Teacher's Guide in collaboration with the DepEd, the Climate Change Commission, the Special Committee on Climate Change of HREP.

LMP, LCP, & LPP NATIONAL ROLL OUT POWERED BY LCCAD
Training-Workshop on the formulation of Local Climate Change Action plan in the Philippines and Federalism "Malasakit at Pagbabago."

PUBLICATION OF K-12 LEARNING MATERIALS
President Duterte, Senator Legarda, NDRRMC Secretary Lorenzana and USEC Ricardo B. Jalad congratulated and commended the LCCAD for the successful publication of the K to 12 Learning Materials/Resources and Teacher's Guide.
2018
DDR BILL ADVOCACY
Department of Disaster Resilience (DDR) Bill together with the Office of Civil Defense, House Committee on Reorganization, LCCAD began advocating for the passage of House Bill No. 6075. An Act Creating the Department of Disaster Resilience authored by Albay Rep. Joey Sarte Salceda and LCCAD Executive Director turned-around the country for Regional/LGU Consultations and Dialogue.

PUSHED FOR CLIMATE EMERGENCY
In cooperation with the Philippine Councilor's League (PCL), LCCAD helped in the passing of House Resolution No. 535 by Albay Rep. Joey Sarte Salceda calling for President Rodrigo Roa Duterte for the Declaration of a Climate & Disaster Emergency in the Philippines

ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND RENEWABLES
Philippine Energy, Efficiency and Conservation Plan (PEECP) and Renewables was inaugural launched by the LCCAD in collections with the Department of Energy (DOE), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the Climate Change Commission to help LGU's comply with Republic Act 11285 institutionalizing EEC as part of the Climate Change Mitigation.

2023-2028 Policy Roadmap charting the urgency of PBBM climate agenda and Philippine contribution in achieving global goal of net zero 2030 and 2050 target.
