The LCCAD Klima Awards honor outstanding local governments, organizations, and individuals leading the way in climate adaptation, resilience, and sustainable development.
The official submission portals for nominations and evaluation requirements are now open through Google Forms. Participants may upload their entries and supporting documents directly using the links below.
This initiative is part of the International and Local Climate Investments Summit, highlighting innovative and impactful climate actions across the Philippines.

🌿 CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: LCCAD KLIMA AWARDS 2025 🌍
This is the moment we’ve all been waiting for!
The 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 officially opens the 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 for the 𝗟𝗖𝗖𝗔𝗗 𝗞𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗔 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 — celebrating outstanding leadership, innovation, and commitment to resilience and climate finance.
🏆 We are now accepting nominations for the following categories:
A. 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 (𝗟𝗚𝗨) 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆 – Open for nominations of provinces, cities, and municipalities within the 18 provinces identified by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) as having high exposure to climate change risks.
B. 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆 – Open for nominations of governors and mayors from the 18 DENR-identified high-exposure provinces, recognizing exceptional local leadership in resilience and sustainability.
C. 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗲 / 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗖𝗦𝗢𝘀) / 𝗡𝗼𝗻-𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗡𝗚𝗢𝘀) 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆 – Open nationwide to academic institutions, CSOs, and NGOs implementing or supporting innovative and sustainable climate and disaster resilience initiatives.
