Nurturing Knowledge, Strengthening Values, and Inspiring Action for a Resilient Tomorrow
Education stands at the heart of LCCAD’s mission to build climate-resilient and sustainable communities. As one of LCCAD’s nine domains, it empowers both students and educators through innovative learning initiatives that integrate climate change adaptation, disaster preparedness, and environmental awareness into the national curriculum.
LCCAD has developed and published K–12 learning materials and teacher’s guides for both public and private schools in partnership with the Department of Education and the Climate Change Commission. These resources aim to cultivate a generation of informed, responsible, and proactive citizens—ready to lead the nation toward a safer, greener, and more adaptive future.
